Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan
- Once the brownies are cooled, cut into rectangles
- Add a few tablespoons of frosting to a plastic bag and cut the tip of one corner. Squeeze the frosting bag and pipe in a zigzag motion over the brownies to create the whimsical mummy wrapping, leaving room for the eyes
- Place candy eyeballs on each brownie to create the mummy's eyes
- Arrange your double chocolate mummy brownies on a serving platter and enjoy this sweet and spooky treat!
