Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy
  2. In a large bowl, mix the yeast mixture, sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, eggs, and half of the flour. Slowly incorporate the remaining flour and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour)
  4. Punch down the risen dough. On a floured surface, roll it out into a large rectangle
  5. Spread softened butter over the dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it evenly over the butter. Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough. Cut the roll into even slices (about 12 rolls)
  6. Place the slices in a greased baking pan, leaving a little space between each. Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for about 30 minutes
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  8. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
  9. Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then top with powdered sugar
