Directions

  1. Heat 1 1/2-2 inches of oil in a pot over medium-high heat to 375ºF
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water and mix until smooth
  3. Coat pickles in the batter and fry for about 1 1/2-2 minutes or until golden. Remove and let drain on paper towels
  4. Serve with ketchup or sauce of your choice. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ea Urban Meadow vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup ea all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ea Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp ea garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ea Urban Meadow salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup ea Urban Meadow gallon water
  • 32 oz. ea Urban Meadow Kosher dill pickles, sliced, drained and dried
  • Urban Meadow ketchup, ea for dipping
