Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Mix chicken with barbecue sauce, set aside
  3. Layer tortilla chips on a sheet pan
  4. Top chips with beans, chicken, queso and jalapenos
  5. Bake in oven 10 minutes or until beans are warm
  6. Serve with sour cream & pickled onions if desired
  7. Place onions in heat proof bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan & bring to a boil. Pour liquid over onions and let cool to room temperature before serving, about 30 minutes. Leftover onions can be stored in refrigerator 4 days

  • 1/4 cup ea barbecue sauce
  • 1 pkg. ea (10-12 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 can ea (28 oz) Bush’s® Original Baked Beans
  • 1 cup ea queso
  • 1/4 cup ea jalapenos, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ea sour cream (optional)
  • 1/3 cup ea pickled onions (optional)
  • 1 ea medium red onion, thinly sliced, for pickled red onions
  • 1/2 cup ea water
  • 1/2 cup ea apple cider vinegar, for pickled red onions
  • 1 tsp ea salt, for pickled red onions
  • 1 tbsp ea sugar, for pickled red onions
