Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs - Urban Meadow

Directions

  1. Place eggs in a pot with cold water (enough to cover them). Bring water to a boil, then immediately remove from the heat and cover. Let the eggs stand in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes
  2. Remove eggs from the hot water and rinse under cold water to cool
  3. While the eggs are standing in hot water, cook the bacon over medium-high heat, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes (turning occasionally). Take bacon out of skillet and drain on paper towels, then crumble
  4. Peel the cooled eggs, then cut in half lengthwise. Put the yolks in a bowl
  5. Add mayonnaise, bacon, Cheddar, and mustard to yolks, then mash to combine. Spoon egg yolk mixture into egg white halves. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
