Directions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons Country Crock Spread in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions and salt and cook until onions are tender and golden brown, about 25 minutes. (Adjust heat as needed.) Add garlic and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool
  2. When onions are cool enough to handle, coarsely chop
  3. In large bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, Worcestershire, onion powder and soy sauce and mix until smooth. Gently stir in onions
  4. Refrigerate dip and let stand at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop. Serve Dip with Buttery Toast Points
  5. For the Buttery Toast Points, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut crust from bread slices
  6. Arrange bread slices on baking sheet and brush with melted Country Crock Spread
  7. Bake 6 minutes or until light golden. Remove from oven and cool. Cut each bread slice into 4 triangles

  • 3 ea large sweet onions, sliced (about 8 cups)
  • 1 tsp ea salt
  • 2 ea cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 oz ea sour cream
  • 6 oz ea cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp ea Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp ea onion powder
  • 1 tsp ea soy sauce
  • 6 ea slices white bread (for toast points)
  • 2 tbsp ea Country Crock Original Spread, melted (for toast points)
