Directions

  1. In a Dutch oven or heavy bottomed pot, heat oil on medium heat. Add onion and cook for 4 minutes. Add garlic and shrimp and cook another minute
  2. Stir in seasonings, beer and lemon juice. Mix well then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook uncovered 15 minutes. Stir in ketchup, hot sauce and parsley. Serve with Gold Peak Zero Sugar

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-Jan Onion, finely chopped
  • 5 Cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 lb Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, with tail on
  • 2 Envelopes Sazon with coriander and annatto
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 12 oz. bottle of Beer (Substitute Chicken Broth if needed)
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice, fresh squeezed
  • 1/8 cup Ketchup
  • 1/8 cup Hot Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Parsley, freshly chopped
