Croque Madame - Mifroma®

- Prepare béchamel sauce: melt the butter in a medium sauce pan and add flour, stirring for 2 minutes. Slowly add milk and cream while whisking. Simmer for 3-5 minutes or until sauce coats the back of a spoon
- Turn heat off and add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and 1 cup of the Mifroma® Gruyere, set aside.#3 To prepare sandwich, preheat oven to broil
- Heat skillet over medium heat. Brush bread with Dijon, top with ham and 1 cup of Mifroma® Gruyere. Spread butter on each.#5 Cook each side. Spoon béchamel on each, sprinkle a little more Mifroma® Gruyere. Transfer to the oven – Broil for 1-2 minutes
- Meanwhile fry the eggs in a skillet with butter until whites are set. Gently slide an egg on top of each sandwich. Serve immediately

- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 4 slices Large French Bread

- 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Whole Milk
