Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan
  6. Once the brownies are cooled, cut into rectangles
  7. Add a few tablespoons of frosting to a plastic bag and cut the tip of one corner. Squeeze the frosting bag and pipe in a zigzag motion over the brownies to create the whimsical mummy wrapping, leaving room for the eyes
  8. Place candy eyeballs on each brownie to create the mummy's eyes
  9. Arrange your double chocolate mummy brownies on a serving platter and enjoy this sweet and spooky treat!
