Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F
  2. Carefully transfer the prepared pie crust dough to a 9-inch pie pan. Trim any excess dough hanging over the edges and crimp the edges as desired
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined
  4. Pour the pecan filling into the prepared pie crust
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. If the edges of the crust are browning too quickly, you can cover them with foil
  6. Allow the pecan pie to cool completely before slicing
  7. Serve the pecan pie on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream
