Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies - Diamond Crystal Salt

Directions
- Preheat oven to 475F
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract
- In a separate bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, corn starch, baking soda, and Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt)
- Gently mix the dry ingredients into the larger bowl with the butter, egg, and sugar mixture
- Once the batter has formed, Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly combined
- Using a 1-2 Tbsp ice cream scoop, make cookie dough balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2-3 inches apart
- Bake the cookies for 6-7 minutes or until the tops of the cookies get golden brown
- Remove from the oven and let them cool. (NOTE: They’ll continue to cook on the inside while they cool)
- Finish with a sprinkle with Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt on top of the cookies and serve warm

- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 10 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
