Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper liners
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips
  4. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
  6. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely
