Crispy Apple Fries - Urban Meadow

Directions
- Peel, core, and slice your apples into ¾-inch slices. Place them in a large bowl and pour over the milk. Toss to coat then set aside
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- In a small bowl, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon and stir. Set aside
- Remove apple slices from milk, drip off excess milk, and place them into the flour mixture. Toss gently to evenly coat on all sides. Place apple slices on a large plate or tray and repeat until all the apple slices are coated in the flour mixture
- Add ¼ cup of oil to a medium-sized skillet on medium heat. Fry the coated apple slices on each side for 1 minute or until lightly golden. Transfer fried apple slices onto a paper towel-lined baking sheet
- Coat each apple slice in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy warm or cooled! Dip in cream cheese if desired!

- 1 cup ea all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup ea Urban Meadow granulated sugar, divided
- 1 tbsp ea cornstarch
- 1/4 cup ea cinnamon, divided
- 1/4 cup ea Urban Meadow vegetable oil
- 1 cup ea whipped cream cheese, optional
