Bewitching Bat Cupcakes – Urban Meadow

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners
- In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with yogurt. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips
- Spoon the batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool completely
- Once cupcakes are cool, frost them with the chocolate frosting
- For the Bat Decorations: Twist open cookies and scrape out the creme filling. Cut each cookie in half, and place two wings onto each cupcake. Then, add on the candy eyes
- Arrange your bat double chocolate cupcakes on a platter and enjoy this spooky and sweet treat!
