Directions

  1. Cut the pressed tofu into small cubes or crumble it into a bowl
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together ginger, garlic, and honey and half of the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil. Pour this marinade over the tofu and gently toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15-30 minutes
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Add the marinated tofu and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's browned and slightly crispy
  4. While the tofu is cooking, mix the remaining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl
  5. Carefully remove individual lettuce leaves, keeping them intact to use as wraps. Fill each lettuce leaf with a spoonful of cooked tofu, and your choice of shredded carrots, chopped cucumber, green onions, and fresh cilantro
  6. Drizzle the sauce over each lettuce wrap. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Tofu Lettuce Wraps!
