Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic to make the teriyaki sauce
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them. Allow the salmon to marinate for 15-30 minutes
  3. While the salmon is marinating, prepare your rice according to the package instructions
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add marinated salmon, skin side down, and cook 3–4 min per side or until desired doneness. Baste with teriyaki sauce while cooking
  5. Divide the cooked rice between two bowls. Top each bowl with fresh spinach leaves, avocado slices, and the teriyaki salmon fillets
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp Urban Meadow honey
  • 1 tbsp Urban Meadow soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1tbsp Urban Meadow vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cooked Urban Meadow jasmine rice
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)
