Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Once melted, slowly combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Careful not overmix
  5. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts (or your preferred nuts) into the brownie batter
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs
  8. Allow the brownies to cool, then cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!
