Directions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the stems. Chop them into small pieces
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Stir well to coat the strawberries evenly. Transfer the strawberry and sugar mixture to a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add lemon juice and stir to combine
  3. Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring. Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat to medium-low. Allow mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Skim off foa on the surface. Continue simmering until the jam thickens
  4. Once the jam reaches the desired consistency, remove it from heat and let it cool slightly. Pour the jam into clean, sterilized jars, leaving a bit of space at the top. Seal the jars and let them cool completely. Enjoy!

  • 1/4 cup ea freshly squeezed lemon juice
