Strawberry Jam – Urban Meadow

Directions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the stems. Chop them into small pieces
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Stir well to coat the strawberries evenly. Transfer the strawberry and sugar mixture to a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add lemon juice and stir to combine
- Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring. Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat to medium-low. Allow mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Skim off foa on the surface. Continue simmering until the jam thickens
- Once the jam reaches the desired consistency, remove it from heat and let it cool slightly. Pour the jam into clean, sterilized jars, leaving a bit of space at the top. Seal the jars and let them cool completely. Enjoy!

- 3 cups ea Urban Meadow granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup ea freshly squeezed lemon juice
